Day 1
Manali – Sarchu (222 Kms)
Early morning leave for Sarchu crossing Rohtang Pass 13,050 ft aka gateway to Lahaul valley, Tandi, confluence of Chandra Bhaga (Chenab River), Keylong, Darcha. Lunch break. Further drive towards Sarchu, through Jispa, Deepak Tal & Suraj Tal aka origin of Bhaga River and Baralacha Pass 16,020 ft. Overnight at hotel in Sarchu.
Day 2
Sarchu – Leh (255 Kms)
Early morning leave for Leh through Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Lunch at Pang. Further drive through Skyangchu Thang - the biggest & highest plateau on earth which stretch 42 km., Tanglang la Pass 17,585 ft, second highest motorable road in the world, reach Upshi for entry of tourist and vehicle, from here drive takes along the bank of Indus river and its valley. Overnight at hotel in Leh.
Day 3
Leh - Lamayuru - Alchi (160 km)
After breakfast drive to Lamayuru en route visit Liker Monastery and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Check in camp / hotel. After lunch drive towards the mesmerizing Moon Landscape and Lamayuru Monastery, the oldest monastery in Ladakh. Drive back & overnight at camp/hotel in Alchi.
Day 4
Alchi - Leh (70 km)
Leisurely breakfast & drive back to Leh, en route visit Alchi Monastery, Basgo Palace and Hall of Fame. Afternoon free. Overnight at hotel in Leh.
Day 5
Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh (320 km)
Early breakfast & leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft through Chang la Pass 17,350 ft., third highest motorable road & highest salt water lake in the world shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake appreciating its changing color. Drive back & overnight at hotel in Leh.
Day 6
Leh – Khardung la Pass - Nubra Valley (120 km)
After breakfast proceed to Nubra Valley via Khardung la Pass, the world’s highest motorable road at 18,380 ft. By afternoon arrive Deskit. Rest of the day explore Deskit, Hunder villages, camel safari in sand dunes between Deskit & Hunder village. Overnight at hotel / camp in Hundur.
Day 7
Nubra Valley - Leh (120 km)
After breakfast visit Deskit Monastery. Drive back to Leh by same route crossing Khardung la Pass. Afternoon free to explore the local market. Overnight at hotel in Leh.
Day 8
Leh
Transfer to airport for onward journey.
