Dear Mansukh,
We started on our first international voyage last night that is on 12th october. Since Anand was using wheel chair for his leg we got all early preferences on the Mumbai Airport and we breezed in the air Malyasia flight at midnight. the flight was on time and the inflight service was good.
Kabeer was exicited and with the meal that lays, kitkat and frooti. he saw transformers the movie and then slept. we reached KL at 7am. and were received by the local guide who took us on a guided tour in an AC van. his name was Selva and hs parents had migrated to malasia from india. he gave good information and we visited major landmarks such as the kings palalce, national war memorial, indepence square and various stores such as leather, chocalate and batik. qwe visited the KL tower and had a wonderful meal at a joint like dhaba in the heart of KL. it seemed to be a popular place for office goers and our bill for three was ringget, that is roughly 325 rupees. then we went to the petronas twin towers the engineering marvel on the century. they have a wonderful syst audio- visual shows before they take you to the 41st floor sky bridge that joins the two towers. One is amazed by the way malaysia has developed its tourism out of nowhere. the infra structure seems to be very efficient and people friendly. from mthe sky bridge one could seen buildings of different style on all sides and one could see some shanty town like basti in some pockets. our hotel grand seasons is a star property and is te tallest hotel of KL. we are on 28th floor we reached hotel at 4pm had bath and went to sleep. got up at 9.15pm by a call from reception to come for dinner. the indian buffet was quiet delicious. we had booked a complaint related tom the computer getting started in the room. the hotel guys fixed th problem at 12.30 am and hence i could mail you all.
Tommorrow we arre planning to vist the city by Metro. our Bali flight is in the afternoon so we plan to spend some time at the KL airport as well.
